Self love ( poem)

A friend to whom you’d ne’er lye,
A friend you’d ne’er take advantage of,
A selfish friend though, but with the facet of unconditional love.
A friend, always keen to partake in your indulgences in preference to
his.
A friend comprehends your emotions and provides counsel thereof.
A friend who stands alongside you from deficit to deluge.
A friend who expects null from you, and yet overwhelms you with
love.
A friend who justifies your vile and virtuous deeds.
I don’t know when this friend was born but from the womb, you were
my closest acquaintance.
I SUSPECT NO IMPETUS THAT SHALL SUNDER US BUT LEST DEATH AS
PARTING AND THE END.
